The Process Communication Model® — developed by Dr Taibi Kahler — is one of the most validated personality and communication frameworks in the world. This 3-day immersive training equips leaders with a deep understanding of their own and their team's personality structures, communication preferences, and psychological needs.

Day 1
  • Introduction to PCM® — what it is, how it came into being, its applicability and results
  • Setting expectations — calibrating the course to participants' needs and objectives
  • Neuroscience & Perceptual Systems — how people mentally represent reality; the 6 perceptual systems discovered by Dr Thaibi Kahler (thoughts, opinions, emotions, actions, reactions, reflections)
  • Personality Architecture & Personality Types — defining and understanding the 6 personality types that make up our personality structure
  • Personality Pattern Inventory — participants receive the results of their personalised questionnaire indicating their personality structure
Day 2
  • Communication channels — presentation and calibration of different communication modes for effective interactions and networking
  • Environment preferences — discovering preferred and unproductive environments for each personality type, with relevance to leadership
  • Motivation & Psychological Needs — the 8 fundamental psychological motivators and their relationship to each personality type; motivating teams in leadership
  • Communication modes — describing each personality type through words, tone, gestures, facial expressions and posture
  • Management styles — the 4 management styles with specific advantages and disadvantages in relation to each personality type
Day 3
  • Stress Sequences / Conflict Management — the 3 stress sequences specific to each personality type and the most effective ways to manage potential conflicts
  • Psychological needs under stress — recognising escalating distress signals and intervening effectively

"Being emotionally assertive is not the same thing as having accumulated information about emotions and emotional self-regulation."

This 3-day training, based on John Parr's Emotional Assertiveness model, develops participants' capacity to understand, identify, and manage emotions — their own and others' — in healthy, authentic, and constructive ways. Practical exercises are woven throughout each day.

Day 1
  • The nature of emotions — what emotions are and why they matter in leadership and relationships
  • Emotions, reactions and beliefs — how our belief systems shape emotional responses and behaviour
  • The origin and process of emotions — understanding how emotions arise, develop, and are processed internally
  • Body language — Paul Ekman's model — facial expressions, micro-expressions, and non-verbal communication in leadership
Day 2
  • Primary emotions and their biochemistry — the biological and neurological basis of our core emotional states
  • Emotional self-regulation — healthy flows vs toxic flows; the neuroscience of emotional regulation
  • Anger, Sadness, Happiness and Fear — in-depth exploration of the four primary emotions and their leadership implications
  • Managing emotions through practical exercises — evidence-based tools for real-time emotional regulation in professional contexts
Day 3
  • Psychological needs of each primary emotion — identifying what each emotion signals and what it requires for healthy processing
  • Basic concepts of healthy relationships — building emotionally assertive communication for sustainable professional and personal relationships
