Research Focus

EI & Leadership: an evidence-based inquiry

My doctoral research at ASE Bucharest examines the relationship between emotional intelligence competencies and leadership effectiveness across diverse organisational and cultural contexts.

Drawing on both bibliometric analysis and empirical methods, my work investigates how EI models — from Goleman to Bar-On and Mayer-Salovey — can be applied to predict and enhance leadership outcomes.

01
Bibliometric Analysis of EI Models

Comparative mapping of Goleman, Bar-On, Mayer-Salovey and other EI models across the academic literature.

02
EI as Predictor of Leadership Performance

Empirical investigation into which EI competencies most strongly predict leadership success.

03
Leadership in Remote & Hybrid Contexts

How leadership behaviours and EI adapt in remote working and algorithmically-mediated environments.

04
Cultural Perspectives on Leadership

International and cross-cultural dimensions of leadership engagement, especially in higher education contexts.
